Memory with no admission test

What it looks like. Things a system learned in a session become things it knows. Memory promotion is automatic or lightly gated. Nobody audits what got promoted, and contradictions between stored items accumulate without resolution.

Why it fails. Durable memory is authority. Anything that reaches it shapes every later decision, and by then its origin is no longer attached to it.

Instead. Make promotion criteria machine-checkable predicates and reject promotions that fail them. Surface every promotion as an audit-bearing decision. Version-control the operative ontology and require explicit approval for changes to authority-bearing relations. Run continuous contradiction analysis and force resolution rather than letting conflicts settle by retrieval order.
